The Buddhist monks are proud to announce the Katina Ceremony 2008. They will have the ceremony in Fredrika/Lappland in åsele kommun at Folkets hus, just as last year.

Buddharam Sweden and the Buddhist monks wish you and your friends to come and participate with us in the Katina ceremony.
The ceremony starts Saturday 1. November 2008 at 10.00 at Fredrika in åsele kommun at Folkets hus, and it ends at 15.00.

The Ceremony/Festival starts in Umeå, ersboda at 18.00 and ends at 22.00

Program

10.00 Everyone comes and make themself comfortable.

10.30 The Buddhist Monks will start the chant and meditation.

11.00 Dana and offering foods to the monks. (bring some food)

12.00 Lunch and thai music. Everyone can buy delicious thai food.

13.00 Dharma Talks and information about the Temple project.

14.00 Affirming the Katina Ceremony by the monks. They will chant and bless.

15.00 Eksebition of wonderful paintings that will be sold after the ceremony. Party with Thai music, dance and karaoke.
